Group News:
- Our groups has received 3-year NSF grant to develop ceramics which can convert CO2 into fuels.
- Congratulations to Shen Zhao for winning American Chemical Society Environmental Division Graduate Student Award and Sigma Xi travel award.
- Our group has received NSF grant to exploring unique properties of sub-nm metal nanoparticles for photocatalysis
- Prof. Orlov has been reappointed by the UK Parliamentary Undersecretary (Lord Henley) to the ACHS Advisory Committee. Dr. Orlov has also joined the UK Parliamentary and Scientific Committee.
- In 2010 our group has received 4 grants from the Department of Education, the NSF, the Brookhaven National Lab and the Strategic Partnership for Industrial Resurgence(SPIR).
- Prof. Orlov was selected to become a Lead Author for the UN report on Global Environmental Outlook (UNEP-GEO).
