Research Interests:

In the summer of 2008 I will begin studying Didemnum, an invasive
tunicate, under my advisor Dr. Glenn Lopez.  Didemnum has
recently invaded Great South Bay, off of Long Island, New York.
My proposed research will examine how Didemnum is affecting the
ecosystem there, including exactly what Didemnum is feeding on, as
well as how changes in temperature and the presence of brown tide
will affect this invasive species as well as the ecosystem dynamics.

CoralOther Interests:

I have been a Scuba diver since I was 12 years old, and being underwater is my favorite place to be.  Over the past 3 years I have obtained my Advanced, Dry Suit, and Nitrox Certifications, in addition to becoming an Underwater Naturalist.
When I am above water, my passion is soccer; whether it is intramurals or just a pick up game, I love playing.
