I am a graduate student studying with Dr. Demian Chapman of the Institute for Ocean Science Conservation within the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences at Stony Brook University.

For my master's thesis, I will address population genetics and phylogeography of the lemon shark (Negaprion brevirostris) in the Western Atlantic.

My recent work includes
field training at the Bimini Biological Field Station, a.k.a. the Sharklab, in Bimini, Bahamas and mentoring high school students from Locust Valley Central School District, NY, on laboratory techniques and basic principles of population genetics.
