Margin of Error
Today in recitation I gave a slightly wrong definition of how to calculate the margin of error in problems 6 (b) and (c) in assignment 3. The correct definition can be downloaded here.

Additional office hours, part II
I am moving my regular office hour to Fridays after the second section, i.e. 2-3. This week, I will still be sticking to the old time, Thursdays 10-11.

Shadyside Data
We will continue to treat the Shadyside data set as a sample. It actually contains all houses that were sold in Shadyside, PA. However, in statistics it is often usefull to treat a collection of all available observations as sample, not as population. (This is the case when we want to do inference, something we will learn about later).
