OUR RESEARCH
The research in our laboratory focuses on understanding the relationship between protein structure and protein function and synthesizing chemical tools to probe and control biological function. Work is ongoing in five different areas: 1) Steroid Metabolism Pathways in M. tuberculosis 2) New ROMP polymer synthesis 3) Sperm-Egg Interactions in Mammalian Fertilization 4) Synthesis and Evaluation of ICMT Reagents for Mapping Lipid-Protein Interactions 5) MT1-MMP in Cancer Metastasis: Novel Bi-Functional Peptide in Cancer Imaging
